Every actor is different: different instincts, different challenges, different potential. But most mainstream, large-group training is built for the masses, not the individual – and if you don’t fit the mold, you can fall through the gaps.

Foundation Course: Spring Term
Build confidence and core skills, whether you’re starting out or preparing for drama school auditions. 65 hours · £900 · instalments available.
On-Camera: Acting for Film
Sharpen your self-taping and on-camera skills with weekly film scenes reviewed in class. 6 sessions · 6:30–9:30pm · £395.
Meisner Technique
A practical, progressive introduction to Meisner: observation, impulsive response and truthful performance. 6 sessions · 6:30–9pm · £270.
Acting: An Introduction
A beginner-friendly course in the core principles of acting, through exercises, improvisation and scene work. 6 sessions · 6:30–9:30pm · £320.
Writers Lab: From Idea to Draft One
Take your screenplay or play from first idea to a complete first draft: character, story and five-act structure. 6 sessions · 11am–2pm · £320.
4-Week Advanced International Course
A rigorous, small-group month of technique, character analysis, movement, voice and scene work, from Shakespeare to contemporary. 120 hours · £2,000.
Hagen Teacher’s Lab
Five intensive days in Uta Hagen’s object exercises and scene study process, for teachers and professional actors. 10am–5pm · £800.

Led by international acting coach Giles Foreman, GFCA is rooted in the celebrated legacy of Drama Centre London and continues methodology developed by pioneers Yat Malmgren and Christopher Fettes. We have been training both actors and directors for over a decade, for not only success on the international stage, but also the skills you need to build a courageous life as an actor.
